“ Little deli with a restaurant inside, friendly service and pretty clean. If you tried Aroma bistro wontons, you can buy them here. Great little spot to grab a delicious sandwich! Must go if you live near by, worth the walk. ”
“ Edit. Recent visit. The borsht was good. The matzah ball soup deluxe was great. Real chicken broth (this time no fresh dill) and just my version of a great meal. The corned beef was the best. We watched a cook cut it up! The fries were homemade and really good. The breakfast pancakes had too much baking soda and the breakfast was normal. Highly recommend the corned beef and soups Went to Bernstein’s for a lunch. First time in many years. If you go I recommend the Rueben and the matzah ball deluxe soup. My kids had the pancakes which was fine. I ordered home fries and they came out as French fries. Call ahead or the wait can be quite long. the chicken soup is made right and the matzah balls taste so good my kids even loved them. The. Five stars is for the Jewish penicillin ”
“ Had breakfast this morning and it was excellent & cooked perfectly! Everything bagel, beef sausages and eggs done great! Servers were efficient and friendly. They all have great vegan options, my friend eats vegan and was very pleased. Definitely would recommend! ”
“ Frozen soup selection is awesome. Dining in the food is great but such a small space and often very busy (for good reason) overall it’s a great place for breakfast (all day) and lunch. The schnitzel chicken fingers are great, grilled cheese, salmon lox and the borscht soup! ”
“ I haven't been back here in years. It hasn't changed a bit. Well, they have added plexiglass shields between the booths, but the food is every bit as good as I remember. I was also very pleased thar despite the vax mandate being over they asked to see my POV, these days I really appreciate that detail. A new addition, since I was last there, was a Bison Ruben. It was delicious and I had a real battle saving half of it for my wife. I scared down a bowl of their borscht without pause and had to order a bowl of their daily special, mushroom and barley, for my better half. My friend had a toasted sandwich which she also enjoyed. The neat thing about this place is that the restaurant is an adjunct to their deli, and you pay for your meal at the register, which makes it very easy to make a few additions to take home. I picked up a pound (300 gr) of some very nice lean corned beef and two chicken schnitzel which did a very nice job as protein in the next days supper. It is a great place still, parking is a bit tight, but keep away from the peak hours and you will be well rewarded. 20220506 Went back for breakfast. They are still checking for proof of vaccination so imuno compromised can be a bit safer. We had latkes and sandwiches and they were fabulous as usual. ”
“ I was the happy recipient of a Corned Beef Brisket on Rye sandwich (to go). Not only was the sandwich delicious, so was the Potato Salad (though I do prefer a chunkier style). The Pickle Spears were also delicious and an especially nice touch. I was very impressed and will be checking the Deli out in person now that I've experienced the high quality of their food! Highly Recommended! ”
“ Been going here pretty often lately. Good food, reasonable prices. The Deluxe Reuben, the Cabbage Borscht, and Matzo Ball soup are great. I got the pickled tongue once. It looked and tasted suspiciously like thinly sliced pastrami or corned beef. In my experience tongue is usually a chopped meat, sometimes with aspic. I'm not saying that Bernstein didn't give me tongue, I'm just saying I probably wouldn't get tongue action from Bernstein in the future. Edit: Thanks for the information, Aaron. “ Fist time here and what a great experience! Extremely friendly and helpful staff. We went for their Le burger week entry. What a great burger if you love cheese. Great seasoned and flavorful patty. The sauce was the perfect addition to balance it all. We absolutely will return to try more of the menu. ”
